World-leading partners collaborate to optimize the design, development and quality of particulate products.
CPI today announced that it is collaborating with world-leading partners to develop robust standardized models for formulation development of particulate products across all industry sectors, e.g. detergents, pharmaceuticals, food. The aim of this project, which is due for completion by April 2018, is to deliver methodology and best practice guidance for implementing models to support the development and industrialization of manufacturing processes for particulate products. Ultimately, the implementation of these models in industry have the potential to increase the speed of development and/or improve product quality, whilst reducing formulation development costs and delivering sustainability improvements. The project involves collaboration with eight partners: AstraZeneca, Pfizer Inc., Johnson Matthey, Proctor & Gamble, The University of Sheffield, The University of Edinburgh, PSE Ltd and EDEM (DEM Solutions Ltd).
