EDEM User Brenda Remy (Rutgers University/Bristol-Meyers Squibb) Wins Best Poster Award at the 2009 AIChE Annual Meeting

The AIChE poster sessions are always exciting to see, with a wide variety of high quality projects being presented. We are very happy to note that the First Place winner of the 2009 Best Poster Awards was Brenda Remy (presenter) of Rutgers University for her EDEM-based research. The poster was entitled, “Granular Flow and Segregation in a Bladed Mixer”.

Brenda has also completed her PhD studies at Rutgers this year–congratulations, Brenda! She returns to her position in Process Research and Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) where new responsibilities will include using advanced EDEM simulation technology to model solid processes in API and drug product manufacturing.
